SOCINSER, founded in 1996, is a young, dynamic company that designs, manufactures and sells surgical implants and medical devices. The company was created in order to fill a gap in the market related to engineering and developing new products, providing engineering and manufacturing services for medical sector. In this sense, we are spurred to evolve continuously by both the medical sector and our own business philosophy as we strive to serve medical professionals as best as possible and promote ongoing, direct communication with customer with the aim of enhancing quality of life. Our ultimate goal is to create products that are met with total satisfaction by doctors and patients alike. Moreover, our highly qualified professional team is meticulous in every aspect of its work, using all technical means necessary to ensure they achieve the best results. Starting with an original idea, Socinser carries out the full range of activities from 3-dimensional modeling to creating prototypes and pre-series, including resistance calculations and biomechanical tests. In order to achieve this, SOCINSER uses cutting-edge technology – CAD (computer-assisted design), machining centers and additive technologies – that enable us to provide solutions right into the field of clinical validation. Since it was founded, SOCINSER has completed more than seventy projects involving new products at regional/national and international level (HipBrid “osseointeration”, Addisc “spinal disc protheis”, Newbiogen “new biocompatible powder”, etc.). Moreover, the company is owner of 20 patents in the field. In 2001, we won the Industrial Innovation in Asturias Award in the category of Industrial Design.
