DE PRADO OWN HARVEST.
Our olives are cultivated with the greatest care in plantations with a total area of 2.300 ha in Spain and Portugal.
The harvest season lasts a short period of time, from the beginning of October to the middle of December, and a rigorous control of ripeness of each plantation guarantees an olive harvest at the right moment to obtain a fruit with the best health and organoleptic conditions.

LOVE FOR NATURE.
We always carry out our agricultural activities being careful with the environment. Therefore, part of the olive grove area is organic crop and the rest is certified as „integrated production“.

CERTIFICATIONS.
The field, the mill, the olive cannery and the packaging are certified by the most prestigious entities in the European Organic sector.

TYPES OF OLIVES.
We cultivate in our farms following types of olives: arbequina, picual, hojiblanca, cobrançosa and koroneiki. Our olive oils have their own style, with a pleasant and a strong aroma, as well as a soft ripe aftertaste and a delicious harmony.

MANUFACTURING AND BOTTLING – TRACEABILITY AND FOOD SAFETY.
The production and bottling are made in our mills following an absolute traceability.
Our demanding plan and the most advanced technologies allow for the selected olives to be milled after picking in a maximum of 2 hours, which warrants for an olive oil free of defects or alterations.
Furthermore, we have developed an exhaustive model for food safety based on sophisticated mechanisms of self-control.

We are responsible for the complete process, from the land to the table.
The De Prado family is intimately linked to agricultural work, from olive oil extraction, olive preserve, packaging, marketing and business management.
