SAGALÉS COMPANY was born due to a grouping of different transport companies along the years. Several generations of business men inside the Vallès established the first transport networks for travelers, intercommunicating several towns. The beginning of the activities dates back even further; the first episodes are found in 1650, when the first Sagalés dedicated, as artisans, to the business of ‘pearmongers’ and, as a result of this concern, the first transports were created. These transports were used, at those times, to carry ice from the mountains where the “ice wells” were located towards Barcelona.

Once the XVIIIth century arrived, it was time for the development of transport based on carts, carriages and such, which subsequently established the first mail transport organized services (postal services.) These structure of services would finally give birth in time to regular road transport services for passengers. At the XIXth century, the same business group spread the use of transports in the area, specified in regular road transport for passengers, discretional or occasional tourism transports, transports for workers, school services, etc.

Besides, following the policy marked by the promoters, and on behalf of branches, urban transport services for passengers were implemented in important cities as Granollers, Manresa, Mollet, Vic, etc.

Nowadays, Sagalés is formed by a group of companies dedicated to different kinds of transport (regular, discretional, school, factories, etc.), giving services all over Catalonia.

It is also outstanding that SAGALÉS COMPANY has a highly-qualified and specialized staff.

Regarding our mobile material, the percentage of high-valued vehicles is high in this company and we count on the technical assistance of own garages.
