Inspiration Pilates is a Pilates Centre based in Marbella which was founded by Habiba Benchaib. Habiba has over 20 years’ experience of practicing clinical Pilates and rehab Pilates as a qualified Pilates Instructor she is dedicated to sharing the benefits of the Pilates method of exercise and fitness.

Habiba was first introduced to Pilates almost 25 years ago and from the first mat class she was well and truly hooked. She found the Pilates method to be challenging and was impressed with the mental and physical results, giving her the confidence to participate in other forms of physical activity. She was particularly interested in Pilates’ key principles; control, breathing and concentration, and found corrective alignment Pilates immensely helpful in her everyday life, relieving stress and strengthening her back to maintain a healthy spine, which was vital whilst undertaking heavy lifting and coping with jetlag when she worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines.

Habiba made the decision to become a fully qualified Pilates instructor in 205 and is now in a position share her knowledge and experience by holding regular basic, intermediate and advanced classes at her Inspiration Pilates studio in Marbella. The philosophy behind Inspiration Pilates is to focus on Strength, Power and Control.

Habiba studied Pilates (Certificate IV) in Sydney Australia and has since practiced the method throughout Europe, Cyprus, Switzerland, England and Asia, before opening Inspiration Pilates in Marbella. She is passionate about the positive benefits of practicing Pilates as a preventive measure for maintaining a healthy body, improving alignment, coordination, flexibility and strength, whilst raising body awareness.

Habiba’s Pilates classes in Marbella cover all types of Pilates' techniques, using the very latest Pilates machines. The Pilates Studio can help clients of all ages with a broad spectrum of requirements, for example offering rehabilitation Pilates for ski injuries, helping people with cancer, Scoliosis, myopathy and osteoporosis. She also teaches pregnancy Pilates to help mothers pre and during pregnancy and after childbirth.

Habiba speaks several languages including French, Arabic and English allowing her to communicate effectively with most nationalities. Her Pilates classes are undertaken in a relaxed and friendly manner, making them a welcoming and rewarding experience for everyone who attends.
