Casa Zaguan is situated in the heart of the historic town of Vilaflor founded in 1520 as a spa town.

Hiking and mountain biking feature strongly in the local area and we have several mountain bikes that guests can hire for a modest rate and we can even organise a group outing downhill through peaceful rural roads and passing through rustic Canarian villages stopping off for coffee or tapas on the way and finally ending up on the coast where transport will bring you and your bike back to the guest house.
For keen road cyclists we organise island tours with routes up over Mount Teide and back. Follow the routes that Tour de France champions train on

New to Casa Zaguan this year we have now a night time star viewing terrace with several telescopes and with our resident Astronomer Simon we now offer some fantastic Astronomy and Astrophotography packages please look on our Astronomy page to see the full range of Astronomy & Astrophotography holidays we offer,
Tenerife is a second home to many sportsmen and women who come here to take advantage of the mild winter climate and the altitude and facilities.
We are home to bootcamps at various times of the year and also organise island bike tours with transport and support vehicle provided for all abilities
The longer summer nights and clear cloudless skies with the lack of light pollution higher up the mountain give us an opportunity to organise star gazing and astrophotography holidays here at Casa Zaguan.
